Racists on PSN (Playstation Network)?

This is my 10TH time this week, and probably 30TH time this month that I've received or witness racism on PSN. My friends list consists of europeans, japanese, chinese, american, puerto ricans, and mexicans. I'm black (American) and I was with 2 of my white U.K. friends, mexican friend, and the rest were my black friends. My character is black on Uncharted 2 & UC3 beta and I have "brooklyn" in my PSN name, we played 10 games and all of them were against racist, white Americans. We left every time to play against new people, but they were all different racists on all 10 tries saying "hey, he's black, brooklyn? oh thats a n*gger". We witness this ALL the TIME from White american players (NOT ALL OF THEM) but the racist people on PSN are always White americans. My U.K. and japanese friends decided to just end the gaming for the day, then we talked on the mics about racism in America. Have you ever experienced racism on PSN?

Why don't the guys my age at church like me?

I quit the program to become a pastor and moved back home. My family and I have started going back to my home congregation. I was away for quite awhile because of military and school. There's a group of men my age who hang out together, usher, and talk; however when I come around they shut me out and stare at me when I talk to them just waiting for me to finish talking so they can walk away. I can tell they don't like me but I'm not certain as to why. I wonder sometimes if I'm more attractive than the average guy that goes to church and if their wives were interested in me before they got married. I know that sounds conceited but it's possible and I have to say these guys aren't lookers. I continue to be nice to them no matter how bad they treat me so you can't say they know I feel that way. Is it an alpha male thing? If so why are they cool with each other?

Xbox: gears of war 3 beta/ uncharted 3 beta preference?

There being fan boys with nil knowledge of the previous games. Now, I have both systems. I've played Uncharted 1/2 and Gears of war 1/2. Originally, I was going to pickup Uncharted 3. After playing both betas though I can assure you, just get Gears of war 3. The beta run unbelievably smooth, literally one of the best games I've ever played. Not to mention when the dedicated servers where up it was a master piece. If the whole game ships with the multi-player experience it's defiantly GOTY. Now, I expected the absolute same from Uncharted 3 beta. All I can tell you is, it's a horrible mess. Stay away from it, it caused my PS3 to crash seven times, it froze and lagged. Almost borderline scam. If the full game ships like this it won't be getting game of the year like everyone says, it will be getting a 7.

Yep, he operated the amphibious vehicles (DUKW). Back in his day, they were used to load and unload ships during the war times amongst other tasks. Some of those ships flushed their sewer material through exterior pipe openings over head. He tells the story time and again how his amphibious vehicle veered under one of those poop shoots. The crew on the ship watching the situation pan out, just watched and giggled as his vehicle veered. No one warned him. Then the ship's poop shoot flushed the excrement on top of him and the vehicle. He said he had turds all over him and made an immediate jump into the ocean. Also to mention he had to clean the ship's raw sewage out of his vehicle. The on-lookers thought it was funny.

Yamaha Motorcycle Dilemma (Maxim or Virago)?

Well, I guess you would call me a yamaha expert although I have been a mechanic for all brands for 35 years. The 1994 virago would be your best bet. They are in the shop the least of those you mentiioned. Also, resurecting the 83 Maxim would cost more than you think since that 550 is an unuasual size making parts rare and expensive. The 535 virago sold many more units. But, the title is an issue. If you can do a bill of sale and hold off paying him til the title clears that would eliminate any posibility of him trying to sell you questionable merchandise. Also, adjusting the carbs on the 535 is easily done even if you don't have vacuum gauges. The maxims are sensitive at low rpms and absolutely can't be done without the vacuum gauges. Plus the 535 gets better gas mileage.

How do we know oil companies didn't cut production of gas to diminish it's supply just to hike up the prices?

Can we really be sure of what the internal affairs of company are? It may be unethical to artificially raise the gas prices based on a lie, but it doesn't mean that no one wouldn't do especially if they think they could get away with it. Minecraft server software not working with Internet Security. Help!?

As minecraft beta 1.7 was released today, i decided to update the server so everyone on it can try out these new features. I followed simple steps that we did when updating to 1.6.6 but when i go to run the Mincraft_Server.exe software, i don't have permission to use it, even when i run as aadministrator My Kaspersky Internet Security 2011, then deletes the software and moves it into 'Quarantine.' Please help if you can explain whats going on or how to sort it out?

I think you have very good chances of making the JV or the varsity team. You could play all the way around or be the setter for your team. Keep practicing all of it too. Maybe work on your serving. You might be able to be a libero for the front or the back row if you are as good as you say you are. Maybe work on the approach for spiking if you want to be awesome in the front row. Another tip is to practice running and do anything like sit-ups to strengthen your core. Maybe work on your vertical jump if you are not good at that. Good Luck at the tryouts!!!!! = )

I walked over to my TV to turn it off, when I noticed warnings that I was 'blacking out'. I often 'black out', presumably because of my IDA (Iron Deficiency Anaemia). Once I realised that I was blacking out, I made sure, if possible, that I sat down on the floor, so as to not hurt myself through falling. Although I do often suffer from these, this time it was different; this time I had a state of semi-consciousness, rather than total loss of consciousness, though my senses were very, very vague. Also, with my vague partial consciousness, it seemed that I was convulsing A LOT. It was a very strange sensation. I was alone at the time, so I'm unable to gain an on-looker's perspective. I am somewhat confused and also intrigued by this very strange, and slightly disturbing experience. If anybody can, from what I've described, have a guess at what I was experiencing, that would help. I asked her like 3 times if this was too early to tell, but she said the test should pick it up by now. What she says doesn't match what I am seeing online. A few things here that are bad, too many lands (you should really have around 22-24 lands not 26), Elixer of Immortality is not that good in this deck, I would suggest adding Jace 2.0 and Preordain, Abyssal Specter is not a good addition because Hypnotic Specter is that much better.

Overall you seem to do fine in school and you have a bunch of ECs. You have some honors thats good, and the one AP is good, your ACT score is average, not great but not terrible might want to retake in this fall or not its up to you, you'll most likely get in, in my opinion, but overall no one here can tell you for sure that up to the admission people. So now the only thing you can do is apply, this coming fall.

I am starting to hate the PS3?

I have just about had it with the PS3. Updates are a drag everytime i update it takes 20 times for the thing to say "Hey, maybe i should start pausing at a percentage and actually finish downloading this update." I never finished the latest update for PS home...i got sick of seeing the update stop and watching the estemated time go up to an entire day. I am sick of being on the browser and randomly the console freezes and there are a number of accessories that don't work for my ps3 like any headset, anything blue tooth...basically the only accessories that do work are keyboards and wire less adapters for peripherals. I'm actually in the Ghost Recon Online beta, and COD f2p China. He're the thing they just won't select people of random you most likely have to live near there office so that you can play in the testing area, they actually do pay you because you sit for hours doing the same mission over and over. There's 2 types of beta testers, the one before the game is announce and then the ones that will have to test the game out at full capacity just weeks before launch.

Offline gaming problem?

I have a very bad lag in my games. I know this isnt because it applies to offline games. Games like Minecraft beta(singleplayer) and other offline games are the one that this lag is happening in. It starts out fine and 3-7 mins later BOOM MegaLag. I mean the kinda lag that is like wayyy less frames per second.once my friend suggested game boaster, but that didnt do anything.Please help me i even reformated my whole computer. Question about Minecraft?

I cant get minecraft to run on my mac..its running 10.5, latest java. When I try to log into the launcher it says "user not premium" (not downloaded) BUT it is downloaded! it doesnt give me the option to play offline..its the beta, I havent boughten the game. I looked around through my system folders and found the "minecraft" folder was empty!. I reinstalled at least 10 times and still, it always downloads with an empty folder! Also, the minecraft launcher doesnt look right, it has alot of code written at the top and its all glitchy. I tried this on another mac running 10.5 too and it did the same thing! then, i tried logging in on the website to play in browser but it still says user not premium and that i need to buy the game! please help!

My rabbit is not allowed indoors. Currently is in a wire cage on the back porch. I want him to have a larger and nicer looker habitat. I was wondering if it would be okay to put him in a homeade pin. 2006 ford diesel white smoke?

i have an 06 ford E-350 diesel, and unless its at operating temp, it misfires and puffs thick white smoke during acceleration. i know from experience that thick white smoke means the fuel has been injected but failed to ignite, plus i can feel the misfires. not a head gasket issue as it eats no coolant. mainly happens while driving during warm up but once it hits operating temp it runs like a top. could it be a cold compression issue? thanks in advance for any valuable info. also, please don't respond with "take it to a mechanic" because i am a mechanic and i'm just looking to find insider knowledge from someone that's dealt with this problem before i tear into it.

We recently found out he has to get glasses. When we were alone he looked at me and in the most scared/sad voice he said very quietly while looking down, "these glasses are going to make me look dorky,...aren't they?" I couldn't say anything. This question is really for those of you who may be actors, drama coaches, entertainment critics, or other film industry insiders, so please mention relevant experience when responding. Is there a way to tell when an acting performance (especially a lead performance) is worthy of being nominated for a major award? I've watched a lot of movies over the years, and I'm at a loss to explain how a good performance differs from a great one. I have a vague notion that I should believe I'm "seeing" a character on screen instead of the actor portraying that character, and that the portrayal should draw me into the story, but that could be just as easily accomplished through overacting and melodrama. Is there more to it, or is the nomination process influenced less by performance quality and more by popularity and studio politics?

I am a 23 year old female and i've been struggling a lot these days with myself and maybe self esteem and confidence issues. I am generally good natured, creative, intelligent and a good looker... The only problem is that i am anti social and not very friendly. I am a non-conformist... I've never followed rules, do what i want, always speak the truth, never join the gossip groups or fake smiles. I've not learnt manipulation and diplomacy and whenever i've tried building relations with people, i give them so much of my heart, love them a lot and in the end get taken advantage of. I hate getting bothered or enquired... Whenever i try passing a cordial smile and a goodmorning greeting ro the people around me, i get commented on my personal habits or asked about my personal things .... '''why do u sleep so late ?'''' its because am living in a hostel, i dont bother people or even watch what they are upto, and when i get so desperately enquired or talked about, it blows my fuse.... Really irritates me or hurts me... I mean i let people get to me very easily... If someone passes a rude comment or pushes me on the way, i might just break down crying .... Instead of caring a damn.... So i try to avoid most people, i dont look at them and i hate them ... I have a wonderful boyfriend, its been four years and loving parents... ive tried many times to talk to girls or to just be their friends, but i can never get through! >_< i am still in high school, and im not the best looker, or even a looker at all.. but i need to know why i am still stuck at this point in my life when it comes to me and girls... i talk to a few girls, maybe one or two that are really attractive, or at least to me, anyways. there is one average looking one, and not to be mean, two not so attractive ones. i can talk to them all with no problem, just i think i have tried to push it to far with the ones i really want, by making it seem to obvious i want to get a little closer, it was a simple mistake, they just seemed to shrug it off, i know what i did wrong and i do not know why i said it... the average one, is already dating some one, and the two that i talk to every day because i see them more are both single. the one is just a good friend, but the other one seems to really like me, with out saying it. i have given them both chances, but they never went for it. (literally asked them out). i went to the mall with a few friends and we all tried to get girls, i get 0 out of numerous attempts, and every one else got basically. i always seem to get pushed away when they think i am trying something. i am told by one friend hhonestlythat i do nothing wrong, just that they just do not want me. making me lose more cconfidence now i am at the point of where i am scared of rejection again, because ive ruined some good friendships by making things "occward". i do not just come out and say it, i just kinda say "well, i gotta go, maybe we will hang out later some time". get it? its not all that bad. and then they just seem to ignore or avoid... my main problem is not wanting to look or seem like a jackass, like how i did towards all the otothers. how do i get over this? i am told rejection is supposed to make you stronger, well... it only makes me feel worse.... i don't know... and i know i am not a looker... im on the bigger side... not one person will take the time to get to know the real me on the inside,because the immediately judge me on the ouside.. Taking a ferry to Tiberon or Sausalito for an afternoon in Marin, would be nice. Or if you want to get away for a little bit, you could go to the Hot Springs or the wineries up in Napa Valley. There's always Coit Tower, The Palace of Fine Arts, or the Science Museum in Golden Gate Park. I forget what it's official name is. A simple drive up or down the Coast Highway is a beautiful day trip. If you go south, you might pick up a cozy afternoon concert at Half Moon Bay, or drive a little further, and hit the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. It's a 2 hr. drive. There's a bunch of nude beaches all along the coast and some inland if you are so inclined. Great restaurants abound within and around The City. Some of the worst looking holes-in-the-walls are actually some of the best restaurants. There's never a shortage of things to do in the Bay Area. Just walking around the University of California Campus is rather pleasant, as well, or the Presidio in S.F. There are things to do for every size pocketbook, so come and have a great time. Don't forget to bring clothes to dress in layers. We're having very weird weather this year and it's unpredictable.

Help Computer Infected with 30 Viruses!!!!?

ok so my other computer was infected with 30 viruses with like 6 or 7 trojans Email Worms, and all this other crap and this all happened when my sister was using the computer now Windows security found this out so i called my dad and he said ( Yesterday 4/16/11) to remove the viruses and i tried however we are using the unregistered version of Windows sec (oh and we are running Windows XP Proffessional) so it needed a registration key which i could not find so i shut the computer off) now my dad is home (4/17/11) and he tried but we have to buy the dam software but we could have a key logger and Screen looker thing that will steal the damn information oh and mind you this is all on my Sisters Profile if i log into mine or others we dont get a virus warning and all the viruses are in her documents) so now im sure that it WILL spread to the entire computer and I really need advice on this because i need to use that computer for a project. :( so we cant use Windows Security however we have CA Anti Virus and MACFEE( what that is xD) but CA hasnt picked anything up yet when Windows security has. While I may be a guy let me see if I can shed a little light on what she's going through. I think I can because my wife was 11 years older than I although we were both older than the two of you when we got together. Believe it or not she is trying to be practical. She's thinking in the long term as she should. Slow things down. Yes. A deep and lasting love takes time to mature and grow not just a few months. Her son not getting attached to someone who may leave. Again, yes. She's thinking of what's best for him. She's also thinking of the long term between the two of you and even the three of you counting her son. Will you be there for them in a year, 5 years, 20 and so on. A little bit is what will your family and hers think of your relationship. And even what can a younger man like you see in an older lady like her. I know because I went through this and it even came up once in a while after we were married. I feel the two of you are right at the bottom edge in age of making this work and if you truly love this lady and can make a life long commitment with her then continue on. Take it slowly as she asks and do all you can to honestly show her the kind of person you are.

Help! Minecraft wont work?

I cant get minecraft to run on my mac..its running 10.5, latest java. When I try to log into the launcher it says "user not premium" (not downloaded) BUT it is downloaded! it doesnt give me the option to play offline..its the beta, I havent boughten the game. I looked around through my system folders and found the "minecraft" folder was empty!. I reinstalled at least 10 times and still, it always downloads with an empty folder! Also, the minecraft launcher doesnt look right, it has alot of code written at the top and its all glitchy. I tried this on another mac running 10.5 too and it did the same thing! then, i tried logging in on the website to play in browser but it still says user not premium and that i need to buy the game! please help!
